In honor of Alan I thought it might be nice to share some photos and memories that we all have of Al.

Let's do this right.

Let's face it, we really don't know each other as well as we should, and due to the fact that our family stretches from the Chesapeake Bay to Cannon Beach, frequent get-togethers just isn't a practical solution. So, let's accept that we live in the 21st century and try this "blogging" thing. I've created this blog, named after that old blue house on Solomon St where many of us cousins spent our childhood together, with the hope that we will all take time to update each other about our lives.
I've e-mailed everyone the login and password for this blog so that everyone can add posts, pictures...whatever, whenever we want. I only have a limited amount of e-mails, so please pass along the login info to all. Off to the right there is a section for everyone to add a link to their families blog (if you have one, I do...but not really) so that we can get even more personal, if you really think we can handle that. Even if it's nothing more than a photo every now and then, please let us know that you're out there. If you're not familiar with how this all works, talk to your children, or grandchildren. This blog belongs to all of us so let's do this right.
And please remember to sign your posts, since we're all using the same login it's the only way we know who is writing what.
